Thanks, everyone!

Well, our man did not carry the day. The official results show Suzanne Kosmas winning 72% of the vote to take the Democratic primary.

To everyone who helped out and supported Clint Curtis for Congress, we can't thank you enough. Unfortunately, despite strong grassroots support, we were out-fund-raised by over $1.1 million! The money is probably less of a factor than the State Democratic party's pushing for Kosmas over Curtis however.

Fear not, folks. This isn't the last of Curtis. Clint has big plans, foremost of which is taking action against the wholesale takeover of 90% of our media by corporations who control the message. Pravda is here in the US. It's time to take this on. And we will.

We wish Suzanne Kosmas the best of luck and wish her success against Tom Feeney in November.

I'm heartbroken but I can't agree with your best wishes for Ms. Kosmas. Just the same old Democrat who is beholding to the same old power structure. I'm afraid I'll have to vote for Mr. Bhola...his platform is amazing. Second only to Clint is this someone I can feel good about voting for.

agreed with the above commenter wholeheartedly. if you look at the total vote tally for D's and R's in the primary, the R's outnumbered us by 10,000 votes! We need to rally the troops in a big way behind Kosmas if we have any hope of getting rid of Feeney. I urge everyone who cares a whit about our community and our country to unite and get out the vote for Kosmas. PLEASE don't let Feeney get away with another election!

You guys are losing your souls...Clint was DIFFERENT. She is the same old news on a different day. We are never going to change our party by continuing to allow them to do this to us. We had OUR candidate and he could have won but they knew they couldnt control Clint so they literally went out and shopped for a lackey with money...and they found her. Face it...the D.C. leaders of our party are no different than the leaders of the Republithugs....I am going for Bhola on principle. Someone has to have some.

I agree with you Emma. The FDP and the Kosmas Camp is full of crap. They are touting that we should look at the turn out of voters. Well they are the ones who stopped the voters with the type of phone banking they did. Several people that I know didn't vote because they thought they had missed the primary. The calls they made touted "now that the Presidential Primary is over will you be voting for Kosmas in November." This caused severe confusion and effectively stopped the vote. I will not vote for Kosmas in November. I will never support someone who behaves so badly. I pray that Feeney beats Kosmos and then Curtis comes back next time.

Another question would be how many people lost the race due to the poor turn out? Kosmas and FDP should be held accountable for what they did. Also Kosmas is Federal and FDP is State and it is illegal to mix Federal and State especially in a Primary.

By the way isn't Paul Dunn Kosmas' campaign Staff! So is the Paul posting here Him? Sounds like it to me.

Mr. Curtis please don't go away. I pray that you run again.

I can't believe that the Kosmas people are posting on here. It takes a lot of guts to push for someone who was against the very person we supported and will hope to support again in the future. I say that we all not vote for Kosmas and teach the Party a thing or two. There should have never been this kind of interference. It is so shameful that we are blasting the Republicans for bad behavior and yet we allow the bad behavior of our own party. I believe that is called a double standard. I for one will not fall pray to that bad behavior. I will not vote for Kosmas nor Feeney. I can't say for sure about Bhola yet but I am checking into him. No Kosmas vote for me either. I will work to tell all of my family and friends not to vote for her.
